Clinton Drummer, Founder/Executive Director of Financial Liberation Training Academy (FLTA), has dedicated his life to empowering communities through financial literacy and business education for the last 10 years. Clinton’s passion for business and financial education was sparked by witnessing his father’s struggles with financial stress due to a lack of financial knowledge, which ultimately contributed to his father’s death from heart issues related to the overwhelming stress. This experience deeply impacted Clinton and fueled his commitment to helping others avoid similar hardships. Having started his first business while incarcerated, Clinton went on to found five successful businesses, and now, through FLTA, he is focused on providing the tools and resources needed to break the cycles of financial instability in underserved communities, creating pathways to success, and reducing the ripple effects of lack of business and financial awareness.

Anthony Nickles, FLTA’s Youth Programs Director, was raised in Compton, CA, where he witnessed firsthand the devastating ripple effects of a lack of business and financial awareness in minority communities. Growing up in an environment where unhealthy financial options were often the only perceived path, he saw how these choices led to cycles of incarceration, homelessness, and even death. Motivated by these experiences, his goal is to break this cycle by expanding access to healthy financial options and empowering youth to make better decisions. Through FLTA’s youth programs, including co founding the Pathway Youth Employment for Foster Care, Anthony is dedicated to helping young people understand their true value, unlock their potential, and create pathways to success that lead to a brighter future for themselves and their communities.

Lino Perez, Director of Staff Training at Financial Liberation Training Academy (FLTA), is a passionate financial advisor committed to providing valuable financial knowledge to those who have historically been left out of the conversation. With years of experience in the financial sector, Lino has witnessed firsthand how the lack of financial literacy creates a ripple effect in communities, often leading to cycles of poverty and missed opportunities. His dedication to financial liberation stems from his desire to bring the same valuable financial insights normally reserved for millionaires to underserved communities. Lino’s mission is to empower individuals with the tools they need to build financial independence, break generational cycles, and create lasting change in their lives.

Gina Vasquez, FLTA’s Event Coordinator, is committed to honoring the growth and achievements of individuals working to rebuild their lives and step into a new future. She leads the planning and execution of FLTA graduations and special events, ensuring each celebration reflects the dignity, hard work, and transformation of every participant. Gina also coordinates FLTA’s monthly Liberation Wellness sessions for staff—creating space for restoration, reflection, and team strength—while overseeing the planning of FLTA’s annual retreat to support unity, vision, and sustainability across the organization. With consistency and care, Gina makes sure every milestone is organized with excellence and purpose, so those completing FLTA programs feel seen, valued, and recognized in a way that leaves a lasting impact.

Kim Daniels, Chief Financial Officer at Financial Liberation Training Academy (FLTA), brings over two decades of experience working with Metro to her role, where she has developed a deep understanding of the financial systems that drive success. Kim is passionate about creating opportunities for at-risk youth and formerly incarcerated individuals to reach the next level of success. She believes in the transformative power of financial options and is dedicated to changing the dynamics of society by providing employment opportunities that lead to long-term stability. Kim’s expertise and personal experience drive her commitment to FLTA’s mission of empowering individuals to build brighter futures and break free from the cycles of poverty and incarceration.
