FLTA- Financial Reentry Training Graduation At Avenal State Prison

The Financial Reentry Workshops have had a profound impact on incarcerated individuals by helping them understand the ripple effect of financial triggers that often lead to a relapse of negative behaviors. By teaching participants how to manage their finances, build credit, and navigate employment opportunities, we empower them to break the cycle of financial instability that often contributes to criminal thinking and actions. Through these workshops, participants gain the tools needed to reduce emotional triggers related to financial struggles, fostering long-term personal growth and reducing the risk of recidivism upon reentry into society.
