What Is FLTA?

Financial Liberation Training Academy is a 501.c(3) nonprofit organization committed to offering a wide range of business and financial literacy workshops designed to empower struggling communities. Our mission is to liberate individuals from financial triggers and the lack of healthy financial options and strategies. We believe the most effective way to create lasting change in society is by addressing the three key areas most impacted by financial challenges:

● Prison Population
● Homeless population
● At risk youth

Our Goals

Financial Liberation believes the most effective way to create a unique wave of change within society is by targeting the 3 main areas affected the most by lack of financial options.

The “Big 3” impacts the foundation of society, from negative spending cycles driven by a lack of financial awareness to youth who, over time, adopt unhealthy money management and spending habits. These emotional spending patterns have contributed to the homelessness of millions across the country, perpetuating cycles of poverty and financial instability. At FLTA, we aim to disrupt these patterns by providing education and resources that empower individuals to make healthier financial choices, ultimately leading to stronger, more resilient communities.

Financial Reentry Prison Program

Financial Liberation Training Academy

FLTA’s weekly Reentry Finance Programs inside California State Prison are designed to equip returning citizens with essential financial knowledge, including credit, saving, budgeting, employment skills and much. Our goal is to reduce the financially related triggers that often result from a lack of financial literacy, which can lead to recidivism, financial crimes, and personal challenges such as divorce. FLTA-Financial Reentry Program is designed  to break the cycles of financial struggle and provide a foundation for successful reentry into society, ultimately fostering safer communities and healthier lives.
