10 Steps Of Business Building is a 16 week workshop created to provide At Risk youth with training on creating a business from their simple idea.
Our 10 Step Business Building curriculum gives youth the necessary tools to open up new options and possibilities for their future, build confidence, inspire further education and provide a solid foundation of education on building a business. Each student will have the opportunity to create their own business, build a website and become a business owner with an opportunity for kickstart funding by the graduation date. Numerous studies have shown that the most successful entrepreneurs did not succeed in their earlier years of school due to not feeling certain things would apply in their life in adulthood… FLTA believes by providing a solid foundation to the youth by providing education on the “mindset” it takes to create and sustain a business, it will allow them to embrace furthering education and build confidence. Our Goal at the FLTA is to prevent them from making the wrong decisions due to lack of confidence to build a future of their own. We begin by highlighting confidence, helping them build goals, then walking them down the steps of creating their vision by reaching each goal. Business Building In School Programs
Our In school program is created to give the youth another healthy option as well an incentive to embrace further education in school. We believe by providing them better tools and healthier options, they will become more motivated to continue their education, and gain awareness of the importance of their other classes relating to their new business. Our goal is to inspire them to change the behavior that may be leading them away from embracing education.
